GLADSTONE – Towns across the Upper Peninsula celebrated the 4th of July with various activities and, of course, parades.
The parade in Gladstone drew large crowds to see the more than 75 entries including political candidates, youth groups, area businesses, organizations and bands. The bands from the Gladstone High School and the city of Escanaba marched.
The Grand Marshall of the parade was the Bravbots, the high school robotics team that went to national competition in Missouri this year.
