GWINN – Several drug arrests were made Monday in four different parts of the Upper Peninsula. The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) says six people were arrested.
Two men from Escanaba, age 24 and 40-years-old, were arrested on two counts each for delivery of Suboxone. They were lodged at the Delta County Jail.
A 34-year-old male and 29-year-old female from Laona, Wis., were arrested in Iron Mountain for purchasing/attempted purchasing of more than 9 grams of Pseudophedrine within a 30 day period. They were lodged at the Dickinson County Jail.
A 22-year-old male from Grand Marais was arrested for delivery of marijuana. He was lodged at the Schoolcraft County Jail.
A 63-year-old male from Ishpeming was arrested on two counts of delivery of morphine. He is lodge at the Marquette County Jail.
UPSET was assisted by the Department of Natural Resources, Michigan State Police at the Negaunee and Iron Mountain Posts and Escanaba Public Safety.
