MARQUETTE – A 20-year-old man wanted on two warrants in Delta County was arrested Wednesday in Marquette County on additional drug charges.
The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) and Michigan State Police stopped a vehicle on County Road 496 in Ely Township and discovered components to manufacture methamphetamine. The stop was near County Road CKH.
The 20-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were arrested for possession of meth components and conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. The male suspect was also arrested on two outstanding warrants in Delta County.
UPSET Certified Meth Responders separated all of the components and placed them in approved containers for disposal.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
