MANISTIQUE – Three people from Manistique have been arrested on drug charges.
The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) says they arrested a 48-year-old male, a 40-year-old male and a 32-year-old female Thursday at a home on Elk Street in Manistique. The arrests were a result of two search warrants at the home.
All three were arrested and charged with manufacturing more than 100 marijuana plants, conspiracy to manufacture over 100 plants and maintaining a drug house.
The two male suspects were also charges with being habitual offenders.
UPSET was assisted by Manistique Public Safety, the Schoolcraft County Sheriff’s Department and the Michigan State Police in Manistique.
