ESCANABA – Veterans from the Upper Peninsula woke early this morning for a 5:30 bus ride to the Delta County Airport on their way to see the memorials in Washington D.C. Escanaba Public Safety and Patriot Guards escorted the buses.

ESCANABA – Seventy-six veterans from World War II returned home Wednesday night from a trip to Washington D.C. to see the World War II Memorial and other sites in Washington. They were greeted by family and well wishers at the Delta County Airport as they got off the plane.
