A culinary arts class shows how to prepare Greek food at home
ESCANABA — Spanakopita was on the menu last night at the Bonifas Arts Center. The traditional Greek Spinach Pie includes spinach, feta cheese, green onion, eggs cottage cheese and lots of butter. Christina Economopulos and her sister, Elaine Christofilis, taught a large group of people how to make the Greek food.

Mead takes on role played by icon singer Dolly Parton in ‘9 to 5’
ESCANABA — Erica Mead dons a wig to look more like Dolly Parton in the Players de Noc musical “9 to 5”. It is based on the 1979 movie that Parton starred in. Mead said it can be difficult to play a part or person that people know.
