WAKEFIELD – An Upper Peninsula man was arrested Monday in Minnesota for a home invasion in Gogebic County.
The Michigan State Police say Anthony Michael Adams, 31, of Ramsay was extradited back to Michigan following his arrest by Shakopee City Police in Scott County, Minnesota. He is currently lodged at the Gogebic County Jail.
Police say Adams allegedly stole guns, ammunition, electronics and jewelry during a Nov. 10 breaking and entering in Gogebic County. He is charged with four felony counts including two counts of felony home invasion 1st degree, one count felony possession of firearms and one count felony firearm.
The investigation included authorities in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota and the FBI. During the investigation, the State Police say troopers were able to identify and determine Adams was hiding in Wisconsin and Minnesota
