Butch said he is most proud of the success that students have achieved at the college. He says that is something they have been able to measure.
I would consider success as understanding the material that you are presented with so that you can succeed with your transfer or vocational education. Then I would consider success also are things that you would learn as part of that. To think critically, to think logically, to be able to express yourself, all of those things that go along with success in a job or college environment,” he said.
Butch is one of four running for two six year terms on the board.
He said his goals for the college are develop a wide range of educational programs, provide quality programming and offer a college education at a low cost.
