ESCANABA – The Michigan State Police say a Gwinn man faces a lengthy prison sentence for a series of breaking and enterings in Delta County.
Phillip Lanaville, 46, of Gwinn was been charged Wednesday with 21 felony counts in 94th District Court in Delta County.
Lanaville is accused of stealing firearms, money and jewelry during break-ins that occurred between May and November in 2012. In one incident, a vehicle was taken from a Wells Township home.
Lanaville has been in jail since August. He was arrested in Gwinn by the State Police Fugitive Team. He has been lodged at the Dickinson County Jail on unrelated breaking and entry charges.
The arrest for the breaking and enterings in Delta County follow a year-long investigation by the State Police, Gladstone Public Safety and the Delta County Sheriff’s Department.
