MARQUETTE — River Valley Bank teamed up with the Lake Superior Community Partnership to celebrate the bank’s $750K renovation at their 1101 N. Third St. location with a ground breaking ceremony.
Construction began Sept. 2 and is scheduled to run through mid-November. The branch will be closed during construction. Customers are asked to use the bank’s 1140 W. Washington location.
River Valley Bank President/CEO Todd Nagel says the decision to re-invest in Marquette by remodeling the 3rd St. building was an easy one to make.
“The 3rd Street District is such an essential part of the economy in Marquette we felt strongly about re-investing some of our capital in this market,” Nagel said. “We have seen such strong support and loyalty from the community since River Valley Bank built the West Washington location ten years ago we wanted to show our continued commitment to Marquette with this remodel.”
