
ESCANABA — The front of a home in Escanaba was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived Monday night. Escanaba Public Safety says the south end of the second floor was also in flames just before 10:44 p.m.
Firefighters from Public Safety and the Ford River Fire Department were on the scene for 2 1/2 hours at the South 10th Street home. At least two people were evacuated out of the back of the home.
The Red Cross also responded to the scene.
The Delta County Sheriff’s office, Rampart EMS and Escanaba Electric Department assisted at scene.
