Bay College unveils new team name and logo
ESCANABA – Bay College has a new athletic name and logo. It was unveiled Monday night at the Upper Peninsula State Fair. The teams will be know as the Bay College Norse. The college plans to begin men’s and women’s basketball and cross country competition in 2017.

Cashen inducted into CMU’s sports hall of fame for his collegiate wrestling career
ESCANABA – Gordon Cashen of Escanaba was inducted into Central Michigan University’s Marcy Weston Athletics Hall of Fame. He was a wrestler at CMU from 1990 to 1994 including All-American honors his senior year.
