NewPage threatens to end merger with Verso Paper
NewPage Corporation is threatening to end an announced merger with Verso Paper. In a letter to Verso executives, NewPage board chairman Mark Angelson said they will re-evaluate its sale to Verso Paper Corporation and consider all of its options if the company is unable to meet the conditions of the proposed merger.

Pisces Fish Machinery takes advantage of global interest in fish
ESCANABA – About 75 percent of the fish processing equipment manufactured at Pisces Fish Machinery in Escanaba is exported to other countries. Matt Wastell says recent shipments include Sicily, Argentina and Greece. Pisces was named Business of the year by the Delta Chamber of Commerce.
