MENOMINEE – Anchor Coupling, Inc., in Menominee is looking to hire more than 100 new full-time workers. It is part of a recent announcement by Caterpillar to consolidate and move its Anchor Coupling plant operations in Illinois to Menominee.
The company manufactures hydraulic couplings and hose assemblies.
They are currently seeking experienced assembly workers, quality control, technicians, team leads, pickers and warehouse workers.
Applications will be available at caterpillar.com/careers starting Aug. 7. The company will also be holding several career fairs throughout the Upper Peninsula.
Aug 7: 1 to 6 p.m. at the Island Resort and Casino in Harris
Aug 11: 1 to 6 p.m. at Anchor Coupling, 5520 13th St. in Menominee
Aug 13: 1 to 5 p.m. at Michigan Works, 110 East Quincy Street in Hancock
Aug 14: 1 to 6 p.m. at the MSU Extension Office, S904 US 41 in Stephenson
First and second shifts are available. Michigan Works says the company is offering competitive wage and bonus program and an excellent benefit plan including health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans effective upon first day of hire.
